Physical Therapist Surrenders License

SACRAMENTO A Physical Therapist will surrender his license as part of a stipulated settlement after he failed to comply with his probation conditions.

Michael Edward Peters will surrender his license to the Physical Therapy Board of California (PTBC) effective October 16, 2013.

In March 2012, he was issued an Initial Probationary License with certain terms and conditions based on two misdemeanor convictions in Michigan for operating a vehicle while impaired in 2006 and 2011.  The Stipulated Surrender of License was a result of Peters violating his probationary terms and conditions as ordered by the PTBC for not fulfilling the required work hours and his conviction in Orange County of a misdemeanor for operating a vehicle while impaired in November 2012.
