Pursuant to the Governor's Executive Order S-13-09, beginning in July 2009, the Arbitration Certification Program's office will be closed on Fridays as follows: July 2009: July 10th, 17th, and 24th. August 2009 thru June 30, 2010: The first, second, and third Friday of each month.

 

Arbitration Certification Program:

The ACP certifies and monitors third-party arbitration programs of participating automobile manufacturers to ensure compliance with CA laws and regulations related to new vehicle warranties and manufacturer sponsored arbitration programs.

One of the ACP's goals is to promote the use of alternative dispute resolution in lieu of court action and reduce the strain and cost on consumers and the court system.
